Leadership Skills in Dance - Induction

‘Leadership Skills in Dance’ is DanceSyndrome’s flagship dance leadership training programme. It was designed in-house with a focus on our unique co-production methodology; all our dance sessions are co-designed and co-delivered by a person with a learning disability (Dance Leader), working collaboratively with a professional Dance Artist.

Leadership Skills in Dance is accredited at Level 1 and Level 2 through the Leadership Skills Foundation, providing a formal progression pathway

and an active & fun opportunity to develop valuable transferable skills, enabling people with and without disabilities to become Dance Leaders.

The introductory session will give you the opportunity to learn all about our Dance Leadership Level 1 course and ask any questions you may have. 

The day will start with some ice breaker games followed by a dance session lead by Kate, the course leader. This will then lead into a really relaxed session that will provide an outline of what you will learn on the course, and you'll be able to ask any questions about what will be involved.
